HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR SWIMWEAR

Our unique fabric, made from 100% recycled material including SEAQUAL YARN®, is soft, comfortable, and durable, offering UV protection, breathability, and resistance to chlorine and salt water. To ensure your swimwear retains its beauty and functionality over time,
follow these care instructions.

GENERAL CARE
  • Rinse After Use: Always rinse your swimwear in cold water after swimming in the sea or pool to remove chlorine, salt, sand, or lotions that can harm the fabric.

  • Hand Wash or Machine Wash: Gently hand wash your swimwear in warm water using a mild detergent, or machine wash at 30 degrees when it's necessary. Opt for a gentle cycle to protect the fabric's integrity.

  • Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Do not use bleach or fabric softeners as these can degrade the fibers over time.

  • Dry Naturally: Lay your swimwear flat in a shaded area to dry. Do not tumble dry.

  • Do Not Iron: The high-quality recycled material in our swimwear does not require ironing. The heat can damage the fabric's elasticity and color or melt it.

  • Do Not Bleach: Harsh chemicals can degrade the material and affect the water quality.

LONGEVITY TIPS
  • Rotating Swimwear: If you swim frequently, consider rotating between multiple swimsuits. This gives the fabric time to rest and regain its shape between uses.

  • Avoid Rough Surfaces: Be mindful of sitting on or rubbing against rough surfaces. This can cause pilling and wear on the fabric.

  • Storage: Ensure it is completely dry before storage to avoid mold and mildew.

To maintain the quality and extend the life of your surf apparel, here are some care instructions and tips.

GENERAL CARE
  • Wash With Similar Colors: To maintain the vibrant colors and integrity of your surf apparel, wash it with similar colors in cold water.

  • Machine Wash: Feel free to machine wash your apparel on a gentle cycle with a mild detergent to preserve the fabric's natural feel and elasticity. We recommend washing at 30 degrees to conserve energy.

  • Use Eco-friendly Detergent: Opt for eco-friendly detergents that are gentle on your apparel and the planet. Avoid bleach or fabric softeners, as these can break down the natural fibers over time.

  • Air Dry: Whenever possible, air dry your surf apparel away from direct sunlight. This not only conserves energy but also protects the fabric from potential sun damage. If using a dryer, choose a low heat setting.

  • Ironing: If necessary, iron your surf apparel on a low heat setting to avoid damaging the natural fibers. We recommend ironing inside out to protect the colors and print.
